Cannon
Curvy Pod.

Sculpted curves. Layered texture. A speaker built around a distinctive listening system.

Our tall, pottery-inspired speaker prototype brings a vertical driver array, a BMR crown, and dedicated lower driver chambers into one flowing enclosure.

Form with a purpose

A continuous curve.
A considered interior.

The Curvy Pod’s narrowed waist and horizontal ridges give it a sculptural character. Rounded diamond openings follow the front array and upper side grilles.

Behind that outer shell, separate acoustic pods and a divided lower core organize the drivers. A removable rear cover provides access to the amplifier electronics.

The development project was previously called TearPod. Cannon Curvy Pod is the retail name for this design.

Inside the prototype

One form. Several acoustic roles.

This tall design uses the following architecture. Components and implementation remain subject to development.

01 / FRONT ARRAY

ND64 drivers

A vertical ND64 array follows the front of the enclosure, behind the integrated diamond-pattern grille, with its own shared acoustic pod.

02 / UPPER CROWN

BMR drivers

The upper assembly houses a separate BMR acoustic pod, with grille openings in the crown and upper sides.

03 / LOWER CORE

RS150 + W6

The lower section accommodates the RS150 and W6 drivers in separate acoustic regions. The W6 section uses a ported enclosure.

Software meets hardware

Designed to be
tuned and explored.

The prototype houses its audio electronics behind a removable rear cover, keeping them accessible and separate from the speaker chambers.

Cannon Acustica is also developing CannonTune and connected speaker controls, with saved sound signatures, room correction, and recalling saved settings directly on the speaker as development priorities.

From CAD to physical prototype

A design in
active development.

The Curvy Pod has progressed through enclosure CAD, 3D-print preparation, and physical prototype builds. Ongoing work includes component fit, enclosure sealing, print refinement, and acoustic tuning.

The CAD views on this page show the tall enclosure design family. Individual prototype revisions differ in internal geometry and assembly details. The views are development references, not finished retail product photography.

Final specifications, measured performance, pricing, and availability have not been announced.
